HUDDLE Bylaws

1. Mission
HUDDLE is a professional referral group for Central Connecticut. We meet weekly to build trust, exchange qualified referrals, and support each other's businesses.
2. Membership
Membership is by invitation and referral only. Each category holds one seat at a time; there is no direct competition inside the room.
3. Dues & Fees
- $100 application fee (due with application)
- $100 first-year membership (prorated by join date; non-refundable)
- $100 annual membership renewal (due the first meeting in January; non-refundable)
- $25 late fee if annual dues aren't paid by the 3rd meeting of the month

4. Attendance
Members are expected to attend weekly meetings. If you can't make it, reply to the weekly email so a substitute can be arranged.
5. Officers
The group is led by a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and additional coordinators as elected annually.
6. Ethics Committee
An Ethics Committee reviews concerns about member conduct or referral quality and recommends action to the officers.
7. Elections
Officers are elected annually by a simple majority of members in good standing.
8. Meeting Times
Meetings are held weekly at the time and place announced by the officers.
9. Exclusivity
No two members may hold the same category. Members agree to keep referrals within the group whenever possible.
10. Amendments
These bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds vote of members in good standing.
